Organisation of the procurement
City of Turku electricity energy since 2005
Administrative organisation of city of Turku (Turku parent group, purchaser) has a limited contract purchasing electricity energy from Turku Energy Ltd. Contract period ended 31st December 2004.
City of Turku asks your tender on electricity as follows:
- amount about 125 GWH/a
- utilization places about 850, catalogue appendix 1
- from some measurable by hour 260 / 103 GWh and
Objects are situated in distribution channels of Turku Energy and Fortum Electricitydistripution.
Selection ground is the cheapest price/lowest marginal offered price engagements taking into consideration.
Measures
In addition the possibility of purchasing wind power will be taking into consideration. For wind electricity´s part is asked to specify the capacity as year energy, annual mean price, contract period as well as possible price control factors.
Success
The goal was achieved. About 4% of whole city’s electricity energy purhacing is produced by wind power.
