Organisation of the procurement
A common competitive bidding of City of Helsinki´s and city of Vantaa´s household appliances and entertainment electronics was arranged for a three year purchasing period.
Contracts will be made on tenderer´s selection not on individual appliances. Whoever customer happens to decide the brand and model of purchasing appliance.
Measures
In household appliances their energy classes (necessary features) were used as requirements. From cool appliances A – energy class was required. Other appliances´ energy classes were supposed to be at least B.
