Efeko Ltd (Efeko Ltd. as the training unit of The Local Government Training Ltd. and the research and consultancy firm Efektia Ltd. merge in 1.1.2005) is a consulting, training and research company owned by the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities. The company supports its clients by providing professional expertise, assisting with restructuring or revising operational methods, and bringing in innovative development. It offers training, consultancy, research & development, and evaluation services as well as information management systems for the municipal sector, the Government, religious communities as well as for private sector companies. In addition Efeko provides international services in its areas of expertise.

The areas of expertise of Efeko Ltd. are strategy and management, social welfare and health, research, education, technical administration, environmental management and catering and cleaning. The activities includes e.g: management and administration of municipal bodies, service structure analyses, quality and environmental systems, information systems (e.g. digital services), re-engineering, regional strategies, benchmarking, co-operation between state and municipal bodies.
